Pork & Fish Paste Patties

These are a homemade patties which are very suitable for children. It consists of pork and fish paste, mix with water chestnut and mushrooms. It’s a great budget dinner dish enjoy by the whole family.

Ingredients:

  • 200g minced pork
  • 200g fish paste
  • 4 water chestnuts (peel and chop coarsely)
  • 4 Shitake mushrooms (soak and chop)
  • 20g dried shrimps (soak and chop)
  • 4 tbsp of spring onion
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic

Seasoning:

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp corn flour

Method

1. Combine minced pork, fish paste and seasoning in a food processor. Dish out and mix until sticky.

2. Add in water chestnuts, mushrooms, dried shrimps, spring onions and garlic. Mix well till well combined. Divide the mixture into small portions and form them into patties shapes.

3. Heat a little cooking oil in a preheated wok. Shallot fry the patties over low heat until cooked and golden brown on both sides. Serve them hot and with chilli sauce.
